    Every bag is woven by hand from real wheat straw - no factory, no machines. The straw is soaked, tied, and stitched in a spiral from the crown outward, then finished with hand-sanded wooden handles. Because each one is made by hand, no two are identical. Small variations in the weave are part of it.

    The process 💖

     

    It starts as wheat

    Every bag begins with raw wheat straw, soaked until it bends and tied into long even lengths by hand. Nothing is machine-fed.

    Sewn in a spiral

    The straw is coiled and stitched round by round, one continuous line from the crown outward. A single bag takes weeks.

    Finished by hand

    Each wooden handle is sanded smooth and fitted by hand, then the black band is stitched on. Then it's done.
